![]() I have a 2017 Honda CRV EX-L and a 2018 Honda Accord Touring 2.0. ![]() It's probably going to require an update from Honda or an AA app update but does anyone know of any techniques for clearing cache or hard resetting the app or the car? However, the AA app is crashing at the point it looks like it's registering something with Google Assistant so I'm not sure it's 100% the car is at issue. I understand that the cars recent update could be to blame because it functioned well before the update. When I attempt to connect, Android Auto app launches on my Pixel and shows the same error I described above. On the Accord under "Connections -> Android Auto" is lists a new device but it's listed as "No Device Name" I can attempt to connect to the phone. I do that and the app just shows the same red warning again. Open the app again and get a red screen screen that asks me to disconnect and reconnect the USB. This may take a few minutes" then the AA app crashes. The process broke when it looks like Android Auto attempts to set something up with Google Assistant. It walked me through the connection process including enabling app permissions for phone calls and stuff, the Accord connected right away to Bluetooth no problem. I cleared the car from AA settings and cleared the phone from the head unit and attempted a fresh connection (as if the phone and car had never been connected before). However, Android Auto no longer connects. My Accord prompted me to update my head unit system so I did. 2018 Accord Sport Google Pixel (stock, no mods or root) Stock cable (came with the phone)
